Friends of Mineralogy NJ Chapter

Thank you for your interest in joining the Friends of Mineralogy, New Jersey Chapter. We are one of seven chapters located throughout the United States, offering both individual and family memberships for those passionate about rock and mineral collecting, mineralogy, and building mineral collections through field collecting and purchases. We meet monthly at the Monmouth Worship Center, located at 37 Vanderburg Road in Marlboro, NJ 07746. Meetings start at 7 PM and run until about 9 PM. Our meetings typically feature a program or speaker, discussions on upcoming field trips, and club business. There is also time for open discussions on rocks, minerals, fossils, collecting, and related topics. Our fiscal year runs from November 1st to October 31st. If your child is interested in the junior rockhound program, a family membership is necessary.
